Nomis Solutions is delighted to welcome Rolf Huber to its expanding EMEA team. With five languages, two degrees from MIT, and 25 years in banking technology to hand, Huber joins the retail banking analytics firm as EMEA Business Development Director. Huber will be using the experience gained over a highly varied career to expand the pricing solutions business into new markets across Europe.
In an era where the banking community is still fragmented over culture, policy, and interest rate management, Nomis understands that different markets require different approaches. On this point, Huber states, “It’s important to understand the nuances of how different markets work in different areas… London is very New York compared to Rome.”

Huber has spent his career bringing groundbreaking technology to the largest organizations across Europe. During his 12 years at IBM, Huber held a number of positions that covered areas from sales to distribution and from financial analytics to performance management.
Now at Nomis, Huber will be driving banks and financial institutions to adapt to a changing economy and a new regulatory environment. The company’s price optimization software allows retail banks to compile customer data onto a single big data platform that calculates an optimum price for any given product, specific to each customer. By applying this insight, banks can develop more effective strategies to retain loyalty while maintaining healthy rates of profitability, and reacting to new industry developments.
